Raid: Shadow Legends on PC — the complete guide
Raid: Shadow Legends on PC
Raid runs on Windows through Plarium Play, Plarium's own launcher. It's a native desktop client, not an emulator. Same account as mobile, same content, minus the daily run cap, the frame ceiling and the thermal throttling a phone imposes. This page is the map; each section links to the detail.
Start here: what you came for

Most guides bury the decisions. These are the ones that actually change your first week.
The PC client in one table
The requirements are low. The game began on mobile, so almost any machine from the last decade clears them. The client page reads your actual hardware in the browser instead of asking you to go look it up.
The starter code, and the trap around it

A brand-new account can redeem one starter champion code. One, for the lifetime of that account. And there's a rule almost nobody puts in a headline:
One promo code of any kind per 24 hours. Spend that window on a generic resource code on day one and you're locked out of the starter code until tomorrow, while the account-age window keeps running.
The widely repeated "before account level 15" rule is a myth. The servers check how old the account is, not what level you reached.
Which code to use, what each champion is worth, and the expiry dates are in the starter codes guide.
Is it worth your time?
Short version: yes in most of the game, no in ranked PvP. Live Arena rewards a deep bench, and that favours spending. Campaign, dungeons, Doom Tower and Clan Boss are gated by knowledge and time rather than by a card, and a well-built free roster clears content that a badly-built paid roster stalls on.
The drop rate is about 0.5% on a standard shard, and gear swaps carry a running silver cost. Being annoyed about that is reasonable. The full argument, with the numbers.
Your first week
What to level, what to ignore, and the resource mistakes that make people conclude the game is pay-to-win when they've actually just spread themselves thin: the first seven days.
Getting the Windows client
Plarium publishes the launcher themselves. It's a few megabytes and pulls the game after it installs, so the download you start isn't the size of the game.
Get Plarium Play
Goes to Plarium’s own site. We don’t host the file and we don’t ask for your email.
Play on PCFrequently asked questions
Is the PC version different from mobile?
Same account and same content, different ceilings. The Windows client has no daily multi-battle cap, no thermal throttling, and runs windowed. The game itself is identical.
Do I need to start a new account to play on PC?
No. Your progress follows your Plarium ID. You only need a new account if you want a starter champion code, which is limited to brand-new accounts.
What do I actually need to know before starting?
Three things, in this order. Which starter code to redeem and when. That the level-15 rule is a myth. And that one promo code per 24 hours is what usually costs people the champion.
Is it worth playing in 2026?
For long-form optimisation, yes, and the free path is real. For winning ranked PvP without spending, no. The full argument is in the pay-to-win article.
