Plarium Play: what it is, what it needs, and what you get on PC

Plarium Play
Plarium Play is Plarium's own Windows launcher. It runs Raid: Shadow Legends as a native desktop application, not an emulator, and it drops the limits the mobile build carries: the daily run cap, the frame-rate ceiling, thermal throttling. Same account on both.
What it actually is

It's a launcher, not a wrapper. Plarium publishes it themselves, and it installs a desktop build of the game rather than running the Android package through a compatibility layer. That distinction is the whole reason it behaves differently. An emulator inherits the mobile build's limits and adds input latency on top; a native client doesn't.
It's also small. The launcher is a few megabytes and pulls the game afterwards, so the download you start isn't the size of the game.
Can your PC run it?
Almost certainly. The requirements are low because the title began on mobile. Rather than ask you to go look up your own hardware, this reads it directly in your browser. Nothing gets installed and nothing leaves the page.

How to install it
- Download the launcher from Plarium's own site. It's a few megabytes.
- Run it. It installs the client and pulls the game files itself.
- Sign in, or create an account with an email address or a Google login. No card is required at any point.
- If you're starting a new account, enter your starter code before anything else. See the warning below.

Get Plarium PlayStarter codes, and the mistake that costs them
New accounts can redeem one starter code that grants a Legendary champion plus resources. One per account, for the lifetime of the account. An existing account returns an error.
The 24-hour cooldown is what actually costs people the champion. You can enter only one promo code of any kind per 24 hours. Spend that window on a generic resource code on day one and you're locked out of the starter code until the next day, while the account-age window keeps running. Enter the starter code first.
On the redemption window: the widely repeated "before account level 15" rule is a myth. The servers track account age, not level. Redeeming inside 24 hours of registering holds up under every published source, so that's the version worth following.
Which code to use is a longer answer, and the ordering matters more than the champion does: starter champion codes, and the order that ruins them.
Frequently asked questions
Is Plarium Play an emulator?
No. It's a native Windows application published by Plarium. An emulator runs the Android build on your PC; this runs a desktop build directly, which is why it doesn't carry the input lag and thermal limits an emulator does.
Do I need a powerful PC?
No. The requirements are low because the game started on mobile. Most machines from the last decade clear them, and you can check yours on this page without installing anything.
Does my progress carry across PC and mobile?
Yes. Progress is tied to your Plarium ID, not to a device. What differs is what each platform lets you do with it.
Can I use a starter code on an account I already play?
No. Starter codes are for brand-new accounts only, one per account for its lifetime. An existing account returns an error.
Why did my promo code fail even though it's valid?
Almost always the 24-hour cooldown. One promo code of any kind per 24 hours, so spending it on a generic resource code locks out the starter code until the next day.
