Raid: Shadow Legends codes in 2026 — what still works, and the cooldown that eats them

Most code lists tell you what to paste and nothing about how redemption works. That's backwards. The codes rotate constantly, the rules around them don't, and the rules are what actually cost people the reward.
Two things are true and neither is on the lists: you can enter one code of any kind per 24 hours, and starter codes check how old your account is. Together those decide whether you keep your champion.
Work out your own window

Work out your window. Nothing is sent anywhere — this runs in your browser and remembers only on this device.
The one rule that matters
One promo code of any kind per 24 hours. Not one starter code, not one per category. One code. A silver code, an energy code, a code from a YouTube sponsor read — they all burn the same window.
The classic failure looks like this. You install, you find a list of active codes, you paste in a resource code because it's at the top of the list, and you're locked out for a day. Your account keeps aging while you wait. By the time the cooldown lifts you may be outside the starter window entirely, and the error message won't tell you that's what happened.
On a brand-new account, the starter code goes first. Before anything.
Types of code, and which are worth a window

Starter champion
yes, always, firstGives a Legendary + resources, new accounts only.
Event / seasonal
yes, once the starter code is inGives shards, energy, silver.
Resource / generic
only if you have nothing better queuedGives small silver or energy.
Sponsor / creator
usually yesVaries, often shards.
Reactivation
if it applies to youFor lapsed accounts.
The ordering logic is simple: anything permanent beats anything consumable. A champion is permanent. Silver isn't.
How to redeem
Two routes, same 24-hour limit on both.
In game
Method 1Settings menu, promo code entry.
Plarium's web portal
Method 2Sign in with the account, paste the code there.
Then the step people skip: the reward lands in your in-game inbox, not your inventory. A large share of "my code didn't work" is a code that worked perfectly and a player who looked in the wrong place. Check the inbox before you conclude anything.
Starter codes, specifically
These are the only codes time-limited by your account rather than by a calendar.
One per account, for the lifetime of that account.
RuleThe first one you redeem is the one you keep.
Redeem inside 24 hours of registering.
RuleSources disagree about whether the hard cutoff is 24 or 72 hours; 24 is true under all of them, costs you nothing, and means the ambiguity never becomes your problem.
The "before account level 15" rule is a myth.
RuleThe servers check account age, not level. You can grind past 15 in an afternoon and still redeem.
Which one to pick: Grand Oak Padraig is the pick for a first account, and Sun Wukong is the argument on the other side. The full sequence is in starter champion codes and the order that ruins them.
Why this page does not list twenty codes
Because a list of codes is out of date the week after it's written, and a page whose only value is a list is a page that lies to you nine times out of ten.
Codes rotate through Plarium's own channels: the in-game news, their social accounts, creator partnerships. That's where a live code comes from. What doesn't rotate is everything above — the cooldown, the inbox, the account-age check, the ordering. Learn those once and you'll never lose a reward to a rule you didn't know about.
Where a code is worth naming here, it's because it's tied to a champion and a known deadline. GETGRANDOAK runs to 8 October 2026. Not because it was scraped off an aggregator this morning.
If you're about to create the account
Do the platform decision first, because changing your mind later is harder than it looks. The Windows client removes the daily multi-battle cap that's the real ceiling on a free account, and the account is shared with mobile either way. PC vs mobile has the comparison.

Play on PCFrequently asked questions
How many promo codes can I enter per day?
One, of any kind, per 24 hours. This is the rule that costs new players their starter champion, because a generic resource code burns the same window the starter code needs.
Where do I redeem a Raid code?
Either in game through the settings menu, or on Plarium's web redemption portal with your account signed in. Both use the same one-per-24-hours limit.
Why did my valid code fail?
Almost always the cooldown. If you entered any other code in the last 24 hours, a perfectly live code returns an error that doesn't explain itself.
Do starter codes work on an existing account?
No. They check account age, so an account already in progress returns an error. One starter code per account, for the life of that account.
Where do the rewards appear?
In your in-game inbox, not your inventory. People assume a code failed when it worked and they looked in the wrong place.
